A dozen days to go...

before our wedding and I'm on the track to becoming a runaway bride! Yup. I'm getting cold feet. I don't think I can do it. Oh just so many doubts. Not the part about marrying JP - I have absolutely no doubts about that - that is what I want/we want. I have doubts about the ceremony. I wish there was someone I could spill my guts to about it, but I don't know who that would be. Oh sure, JP has assured me that everything will be fine and that I'll look fabulous, and all that... but still. ..

It's odd for me because normally I'm pretty comfortable with my decisions and I'm fairly confident, but not for this. I guess it doesn't help to see all the magazines and TV shows making it into such an event - such an event that's just not ME! eek!

Last night I did a mini trial run - I put on my pantyhose, and shoes and dress and kinda fixed my hair how it would be - but I don't like it. I feel silly. But I don't know how to change it and haven't seen a dress that would be better/different/perfect.

(sigh) I guess in the end it doesn't really matter - what matters is that JP and I get married and live happily ever after. I just don't know where I'm going to put that white horse. Oh yes, in our white and pink castle - of course!

i know you'll have a great wedding day! do it *your* way and just enjoy it 'cuz that's what it's all about. and really when you think about it, the ceremony itself, whether in a church or garden or wherever, is over in about 10 minutes! :))

i got majorly criticized by some of my more stuffy family members for doing my wedding my way( costume wedding on halloween!) but in the end everyone had a blast and they still talk about it 10 years later! just have fun and don't let anyone try to tell you what you should or shouldn't do.
it's your day for you & jp to enjoy & do it the way you want! i know it'll be great!!!

Thank you for the great comment. You're right - the ceremony _is_ only about 10 minutes.
Halloween is a great time to get married. What a smart idea.
Thanks for your fabulous support.
