I wanted to share another Christmas project I made. This is a set of embroidered napkins. All the patterns came from Sublime Stitching except the pink feet which I had to draw myself (they are to represent Big Girl Feet). I forgot to take a photo before I shipped them, but thankfully Cynthia took this photo and sent it to me so I could share with you.
I am very pleased with it, except JP tells me it's too big for a baby and will fit a toddler. I have no idea how big a baby's head is; I'm either making things too small or too big. I'll have to see if I have a chart with head sizes so I can figure it out once and for all.
And this is a baby hat I made for some friend who are expecting. The pattern is called "Baby Bobbles" from the Jan/Feb2008 issue of Crochet Today and the year is Bernat Cottontots.

When I subscribed back in September, the online order form offered me a set of crochet hooks. I have received two issues of the magazine so far, but not the hooks despite several phone calls and some faxes, I get either the royal run around or no response at all. Bah - I think that's pretty crappy.

Ya, I think if it fits on the foam head, it'll be too big for a baby. I'm not too familiar with babies either, so getting some measurements is a good idea. It's a cute hat, though! I love your needlepoint gifts. It adds a nice personal touch.
Hi JoAnn - I did have to really stretch it to fit but yes, you're right. I had also posted my hat on Craftster and a girl sent me a chart with baby sizes which is very helpful:

Thanks for nice compliments on the napkins.
