Tomorrow my other dog, Jazz will have surgery on her shoulder to removed a fat lump. We've already checked this one - twice. We are concerned that the lump will impede her front leg movement and eventually worsen any arthritis she may get in that shoulder. Jazz will be 12 this year (she's the white one with brown spots).
Maxx is doing okay, his stitches are driving him crazy and so he's had to wear the cone collar more because the moment I turn my back on him, he's licking! He's not co-ordinated enough to wear it all the time and frequently gets stuck. I take it off so he can lay down and then put it back on him when he's in his bed - half the time it's not even tied.

I haven't felt much like crafting over the last couple of days but wanted to share with you a pair of fingerless gloves from the magazine Crochet Today which I made on Sunday. I thought these were interesting because of the straps, however, I haven't found the buckles yet - and according to a couple people on Ravelry, they are very hard to find. So for the time being, I have used a ribbon - this ribbon is very uplifting to me because of the different coloured polka-dots which remind me of the Wonderbread packaging - which I find is a "happy" pattern.
