Every thing's back to normal - weather wise - today. Sunny, but it's chilly. This morning when I walked the dogs, I wish I hadn't put away my gloves. I did pull on my winter coat, jammed my face into the stand up collar and we walked really fast. It was zero degrees and it was windy. Brr. I don't really think the dogs cared, they just like the walks!
Only 18 more days until my Texas vacation - so looking forward to the sunny warm days. Sitting by the pool sipping a G & T !
In between projects at the moment, although my order of Boa yarn arrived from Mary Maxim - 97 cents a skein, I couldn't resist. I've got lots of little projects planned - except none will be worn until next winter. I can live with it - don't worry.
Anyone flown lately? I'm trying to find the perfect project for the airplane. Maybe socks on bamboo needles?

I just ordered some of that boa yarn, too. No clue what I'll do with it, but who could resist that price? Have you ever looked at the elann website? So many free patterns. Still learning about yarns and stuff, so am reluctant to buy something without seeing and touching it, but I was very tempted by a "full bag" sale they've got going on. An added bonus....they're Canadian.
PS....being in Vancouver this last 3 weeks has felt downright tropical to me. Came home to minus 18 and 2 feet of snow still on the ground. I might die if I went to anywhere very hot.
Hello! I've just made a wrap with the mallard green boa. And will make a stole with chinchilla and the sable - but most likely Christmas gifts. I love the colours so much - but will have to wait until the fall to wear them I think.
Thanks for reminding me of the Elann site - that's great - more tempatation! giggle.
I bet it was a bit hard to go home with that weather. That doesn't sound fun at all.Was everything at home okay?
