Good news for me. A yucky neighbour who lived at the top of the cul-de-sac (so you had to walk/drive by their house) has moved... to Alberta! Yay! The street will be quiet for a while as their bratty kid and delinquent father are gone, gone, gone! Yes.

However, I am hesitant to celebrate as we don't know what will move into that house... I'm trying to stay optimistic.

On the crafty side of things, I'm between crafts right now and don't know what to do. I need to complete a couple of projects for my swap partner so I haven't started any of my own, and that's how it goes.

It's a cloudy muggy day today so I'm inside working on cleaning up my desk. So much organizing to do. The hardest part is not just the organizing but the maintaining of files. Not only do you have to deal with what is coming in, but you still have to go through what you have to purge. That's the hardest part of all isn't it?

Hope you're having a great Sunday.

I know your elation at having a horrible neighbour finally move away. For years, we had the family from hell at the end of our street. The Hell's Angels were frequent visitors, so noisy Harleys drove by at all hours, and hence, so did the cops. The kids were scary and would tie their pit bulls to skateboards and rip up and down the street and lane terrorizing people. The adults were thugs and bullies. The name of our street was "Fell" and someone modified the street sign (which happened to be right in front of that house) to read "Hell". Not sure if it was them that did that, or one of the unfortunate neighbours who lived closest. We almost had a block party when they moved out. Thankfully, no one worse moved in...but then, would that have been possible?

YIKES! That's horrible! You're right, I don't think your neighbours could have gotten worse, and sad that the street sign name was changed. It gives me the shutters.
I've found out that the people who bought the place wanted the fenced yard for their Great Dane. So far that might not be too bad - their big dogs but not usually trouble makers. I'll let you know when I know more about them.
Joanne, I bet you thank the stars everyday to have escaped to such a wonderful location! Is it still sunny and warm there?

I don't think I exaggerate when I say that in the last 2 months we have had only 4 (maybe 5) days where it did not rain at least once in each 24 hour period.
