This weekend was a busy one because it was The Kid's 10th birthday. While he was out with his dad I sewed up a quilt for him - I'll post photos tomorrow. He likes it but I need to do some hand quilting in the middle of it - I tried to machine quilt it but it just didn't work out and 1 spent about 20 minutes picking it all out. Didn't need that. Once I get my out-of-town parcels sent I'll work on his quilt some more and then can take it home and I'll never see it again.
I did get to go to a great craft fair with Carol and Cynthia - it was put on by the Whonnock Weavers and Spinners group and featured very unique items. As well they had a different style of presenting the items - they were arranged by colour and were placed on three long 'island' tables. Knitted, felted, woven, ceramic and glass items were all mixed together. You picked up what you wanted to paid once on your way out. This was so much better that having to fiddle with change at each booth. I will definitely return to that show next year. Thanks for the suggestion Carol!
I'm trying to get some projects completed for the Christmas gifts that I mail out and would like to have them in the mail by next Tuesday at the latest - part of what is contributing to my being frazzled. Maybe I should just start drinking.
I have a feeling that my blog posts will sporadic over the next 30 days, however I know that those of you who read this will also be very busy so maybe it works out the best for all of us.

I do know what you mean. We were going to go to Vancouver for Christmas (which I wasn't crazy about doing), so that gave me a little extra time to finish the knit and crochet gifts I'm making. Yesterday we decided to stay home also. Mixed feelings of relief and guilt, but that's another topic. Now I have to hurry and finish the projects to get them mailed in time. YIKES! But also, we are suddenly in the middle of some renovations because we found that we have to replace our furnace chimney. Another YIKES!
Drinking.... sounds like fun. Maybe wait til after the stuff's in the mail (wink).
Hang in. Things will fall into place.
