On Saturday night we went to the talkies and saw Men Who Stare at Goats - a quite enjoyable movie! I recommend it if you'd like to chuckle. And looking at Ewan McGregor and George Clooney don't hurt either!
And speaking of shows, did you watch Dexter last night? What a smokin' ending last night! I haven't seen a good one like that since, well, the season finale of Mad Men!
This week is going to be another busy one - first there's my day job, in between I'll have to drive Jp to the airport and back (that's a 3 hour round trip), work on some Christmas presents, and get some baking done for the kid's 11 birthday this weekend - he has requested rhubarb crunch, sugar cookies, and orange cupcakes. Since rhubarb's out of season and I'm not sure how the recipe will turn out with frozen rhubarb, I may skip this one.
We found him a cool skull leather wristband at this weekend's MakeIt craft show, where we stopped in to see Cynthia's gorgeous selection of goodies. This is what we bought him: 
And I bought this double-sided necklace:
Then we buzzed over to Commercial Drive for a yummy sandwich at La Grotto del Formaggio and fries at Belgian Fries. That hit the spot!
