My mother often tossed out non-compostable spoiled foods like sour cream or cottage cheese in the toilet. Once she plugged the toilet real bad by tossing some old pickles in it.
I learned from that mistake but obviously didn't learn the lesson well enough because today I tossed a 2" x 2" x 3" brick of old Feta cheese found in the back of the fridge, thinking it would slide right through the system. Well it didn't. And my husband is very angry at me.
It took a few extra flushes and some help from a plunger and now everything's a-okay, but he's still not too happy that I did it.
Am I the only one? What have you flushed down the toilet that didn't go as well as you thought it would?

Norm decided to flush non-flushable kitty litter (clay based I might add)- despite my saying "I told you so!"- what a total mess. When it gets wet it sticks everywhere. I told you so! I told you so! I think he learned his lesson.
Oy! That's a doozie all right!
Thanks for sharing!
