Beautiful signage

In June, Cynthia took a week long trip to Paris and then posted daily details on her blog including lots of wonderful photos. One of the things she commented on was the signs she saw around Paris. They are very beautiful and little works of art themselves. (I hope you don't mind that I linked to your site Cynthia)

I've long been fascinated with cursive writing, always wishing my handwriting was better but never really knowing how to do it or even spend the time practicing. And co-incidentally, I just came across a post about those little signs - here's an article I thought you might like to read.

I don't mind at all!! I looooooved all the handwritten signs- so beautiful all in themselves. It was rare to see the ugly vinyl cut letters, even shop windows had nice lettering- and no spelling mistakes (at least obvious ones that I knew in my limited french- lol!)
And funny things, like chalkboards that were more permanent in nature were still chalkboards but handwritten in paintpens instead of chalk. Love it.
