Moth or Myth??
Anyone who's a knitter/crocheter/fibre artist or knows one, knows that a moth within a 5 mile radius of their house is enough to induce panic and send them running to the freezer to protect their stash of wooly skeins. So I would like to know this - if moths like wool so much, do they nibble on it on the backs of sheep?

I should add I always enjoy your backgrounds. Very creative. Very pretty. And this one with the glue bottle. Very nice.

Yes I did draw it all by myself, all my idea, just on scrap paper with a Sharpie.

was pretty sure that wool moths (Tineola biscelliella) larvae
didn't eat the wool on sheep as the larvae like dark places ( closets, drawers, under carpets, etc.) I asked the lepidoptera people to make sure and there have never been any records of wool moth larvae being found on sheep. Sheep have sheep keds which are a wingless fly sort of
resembling a tick except hairy and both the adult and larvae are on
sheep. If people saw these larvae they might think the are wool moth larvae. Hope that helps
