Street Heart # 4 (?)
It's been a while since I found a street heart - but finally here is a lovely mossy example:

Pinecone Puddles
Every couple of days, Eco and I pass through the local school yard during our walk. Besides the atrocious amount of garbage that litters the grounds there can be some interesting things - like part of toys left behind or sidewalk chalk drawings. But the efforts of many little fingers also do things like dig - and many of the trees on the grounds have deeper than normal grooves around them, and many trees have the bark picked off etc.
But yesterday morning was a rather fun experience - this is what I saw:
Now I'd love to show you a 'before' photo, except before it was just a puddle. Who knew it would dry up and leave a little depression that one or more children would decide they'd fill with pine cones, acorn and walnut shells? Isn't it rather fascinating?

Street Heart - spider web
Here's another to add to my "street heart" collection, I came across this heart shape in a spider web:
Isn't that interesting? It's also really hard to get a photo of a spider web in the middle of a park in dewy, foggy weather, with a dog randomly pulling on the leash.

unrelated but sharing a post anyway
Well I managed to get one little project done, this is a knit headband in a starfish pattern, it has an elastic sewn in the back to help it fit better:
I'm working on an embroidery but the transfer pen has made it look really messy and I just can't bring myself to showing it until I can wash off all the marks and show it to you, so instead I'll show you a street note:
Frequently when I'm walking Eco I find notes on the ground and I love to read what they say, they can be rather interesting. I'll have to find the other ones and share them with you. Usually I put them by the door that we come in and set them out to dry because usually they are soaked from the rain or morning dew. I thought this one was an interesting assortment.
