And as I passed streets near the area where I had first started walking, I could feel the cool damp air pushing up to the warm 'corridor'. I was most fascinating and remarkable. It's pretty rare to have a wind like that - I swear it's come straight from Hawaii or Arizona and it's especially odd to feel an air temperature change. That's a time where I wished I had a heat sensitive camera so I could see the air patterns. As you can tell, it was so amazing to me, I just had to share!
* I realized later when I saw that titled, one might have thought I was going to write about flatulence. No?

Oooooh, I love warm winds! When I lived in Calgary, I remember one night in late Fall when a Chinook blew through and suddenly it felt like Summer. We stayed out late, playing in a school field, just to soak in that extra warmth.
Welcome to my world :)
You are so observant. Most people would be talking on their phone or worrying about what they would do when they got home.
Your descriptions draw the reader into to the scene. I could feel the cold and then the warm blast of air.
Wonderful.
