I woke up this morning feeling tired and groggy. I had a big long dream about being in the US Civil War and hiding in my attic as troops were marching past our big house (totally weird isn't it? ) My brain tried to puzzle out the dream, plus my body was achey and my throat was sore. I felt like I'm getting a cold, but I kept trying to put those thoughts out of my head and tell myself that I am not sick, I am just fine. I then proceeded with my normal morning routine - getting dressed, feeding the dog and taking her for a walk.
I was 30 minutes into my walk when my one foot felt funny (I have one pair of shoes that always pokes me in the achilles tendons) -but only one, so I guess that registered in my brain and I look down and see this:
Geez - how groggy was I? It's a good thing I don't drive when I first get up. In my defence I will say that they were bought at the same time, they are made by the same company and they are both a walking/hiking shoe (and they are both grey) - but other than that... I have no excuse. And it took me 30 minutes to notice??? Good thing it's only 6:30am and I am not stuck wearing them for the rest of the day!

We all have days like that. What were your sock choices like?
At least they aren't two left shoes

My socks matched - probably because I was wide awake the day I did the laundry!
